The weekend is over. Sarah has worked so hard to ensure Anya's birthday went off smoothly, I am so proud of her. They went to dish in Reigate to paint plates and then to Pizza Express afterwards. Now rant time, why oh why do shops advertise one price then add a "fee". Dish added nearly £5 to the bill to cover studio time and paint, surely it would be much easier to just add this to the cost of each plate! And if you are planning to eat in PE make sure they clear your table on time, they waited nearly 40 mins to get this done on Saturday. In some ways a good job I was not there! Back to the weekend, Sunday saw the grandparents come round and again Anya was very excited with all her presents

Yesterday saw me back at the GPs and also a call from the consultant, I should get my results by the end of the week now, to say we are nervous is an understatement, but still keeping positive.

My friend Ross is coming round today as Sarah has gone Christmas shopping. as we don't know what he next few weeks will have in store for us, she is trying to be as organised as possible.

Well that's me signing off, a nice cold glass of ginger beer awaits ....

What week its been. Roller coaster best describes it. I must be getting old as I have signed the Marsh clan up for National Trust membership - 20% cash back through quidco mind - so we can explore those local treasurers on my many days off. Also sorted the camp site pitch for next years holiday so we can be close to our friends Duncan and Sara and thier family, we are 265 and they are 280, even Sarah's legs should be able to walk that far, no matter how many onions she has.

Busy weekend this week, its Anya's birthday tomorrow, she is very excited. Tonight we have Alison & Ross and Alison & Garry coming over for a chinky and a few beers, looking forward to it, just dont make me laugh too much guys cos it only hurts when I laugh

Answer is they still do not know but have removed some less attractive options. Still feeling really good myself, no weight loss, no loss of appertite, no unusual tiredness etc so thats all still very good, and my sense of humour is still going strong, as I said to the consultant radioligist, dont take this the wrong way but I hope I dont see you again. Will not know any more now til 7 th December, so time to make use of that National Trust pass, even if only for coffee and cake!

Yesterday went quickly - not sure if no news is good news or not but the tests yesterday were clear, so back in today for another set, this time may have to stay in overnight!

Sarah is moaning about my spellings, as alays they are not the best. You will have to excuse them as they are not top of mind at the moment ....

So here i am on Wednesday morning awaiting my next investigation at hospital. Signed up to lovefilm this morning - decided Sky was way too expensive! I have Senna to take with me to watch, if i get any time that is. Hopefully all will go well today and we will finally know what i am dealing with soon. Then i can get on with dealing with it and moving forward

Now need to email all Max's teachers at school as it is parents evening tonight and i doubt we will be there

So why Dene and ginger beer. Well having had some bad news last week I have found some solace in my favourite drink - ginger beer. So its not what you were thinking!!! Whats the bad news, well more on that later as things develop, but this is somewhere I can share my thoughts and update everyone without having to tell the same story many times

What am I doing now, well resting and driving Sarah crazy. Sky tv is definately looking a good buy as is only so many times you can watch repeats on Freeview, and my current situation means that although I feel very well, I have a little soreness which is inhibiting my movement. Without that I would be up and out trying to enjoy myself.

Off to hospital tommorrow for more tests, results in a week or so, will post again then, or sooner if i feel the need
