I told you on Monday that I was off to collect my Olympics accreditation and uniform, so here's the proof. I don't know what I am accredited with, but I hope it's not the design!!

As you can see it's a stylish number, good job they went to my size

My job is a crossing point marshall at both the Mall (road races) and Hampton Court (time trials). These happen to also be the start and finish area's, so I am very lucky. Only downside is I live about 5 miles from Box Hill, which is the most scenic location, and also where most of the action should happen. Instead of this short journey, I have to get into central London on all 3 days. So if you see anyone doing the pose below on TV, you know it's me and someone is trying to cross ...

The guidelines you get are quite extensive and tell you what and how to wear every item, I think I know which way round they go! This extends to how to carry the jacket, the trousers and even what socks to wear, still they did stop at socks!

Today I have a meeting at St Catherine's Hospice, with the fund rasing manager, to really get the ball rolling for my charity ride in September. If you have not checked out the website yet, please do. www.wrongwayround.org.uk
