Well what a rough time we have had recently. Firstly, my Mum got burgled and she lost a lot of very sentimental items, jewlery from Dad and her parents, but at least she is ok and safe. What makes lowlife's do such things, really think we are too liberal in this country sometime's. If they are ever caught, they will probably blame poor upbringing, lack of opportunities etc, well we all make do, and then they get a pat on the back and sent on holiday, then again I have always thought they have it too easy.
I then had my scan, at which I said I did not anticpate any issues. Well I won't be that cocksure again, as the C is back in several small areas, and that meant we wnet on holiday, taking Mum, pretty downcast. But the oliday came at exactly the right time, as we all able to spend some really good quality time together, all leaning on each other, and able to start looking forward again.. thank you Patty, Graham and Simon, we had a really good time.
Yesterday I met with Julian, my oncologist, and he confirmed that i will need a new round of chemo. Its pretty similar to before, 6 rounds of treatment, 3 weeks apart. I start a week Monday, on the 19th November, so the blog will become more active again I suspect as I keep you all informed.
Looking forward though, the treatment dates work pretty well for Christmas, so hopefully I will be better company than last year, and it should once again leave summer clear to enjoy.
Your positivity really is an inspiration to all of us :-)
